The 7th of November Hiroaki Tateshita from JAXA - Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency will visit NavSAS and ISMB. Mr. Tateshita takes care of the Multi-GNSS Asia (MGA) campaign activities organized by JAXA. MGA is an organization whose aim is to promote multi-GNSS utilization and applications in the Asia and Oceania region.
NavSAS and JAXA/MGA collaborated in 2012, 2013 and 2014 in organizing the Asia Oceania Workshop on GNSS in three South East Asian countries: Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. This collaboration was possible thanks to Growing NAVIS, an FP7 project leaded by NavSAS.
Mr. Tateshita will provide a lecture on the status of QZSS - Quasi-Zenith Satellite System, the Japanese regional navigation system, and on the JAXA activities in the field of GNSS from 15.00 to 16.00 in Sala Andromeda, in ISMB.
