Matteo joined the NavSAS group in 2007. He received his Master's Degree in International Studies from the University of Turin with a thesis on GPS and Galileo.
Since 2009 Matteo is involved in the management of international R&D projects on GNSS, with a specific focus on South East Asia. Working on two FP7 projects, SEAGAL and Growing NAVIS, he collaborated to set up a satellite navigation R&D lab in Vietnam: the NAVIS collaboration centre. Today Matteo works on several projects coordinated or participated by NavSAS. In particular, Matteo is working on the Horizon 2020 project BELS that aims to facilitate the breakthrough of European-GNSS technology in South East Asia. Matteo also collaborates with another ISMB area for a project on technology scouting and startup monitoring.
Matteo takes care of the dissemination activities of the NavSAS lab.
