Sabrina received her Bachelor and her Master degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, in 2007 and 2009 respectively. She joined the Navsas group for the first time in 2009 as a student, to develop her master thesis project, with the title “Analysis of third order digital PLLs”.
In 2010 she started her Ph.D. program in Electronics and Communications at Politecnico di Torino, and she became a member of the Navsas group. During her Ph.D. course she spent one year abroad as visiting student at the Ohio University (Avionics Department), in Athens, Ohio (U.S.A.).
In 2013 Sabrina completed her Ph.D. program, with a dissertation entitled “High-performance velocity, frequency and time estimation using GNSS”, and then she remained a member of the Navsas group as ISMB staff. Since July 2013 Sabrina is part of the group holding a post-doctoral position at Politecnico di Torino.
Her research interests include several topics related to GNSS, as the design of the software receiver tracking stage, measurements and calibration of the ionospheric Total Electron Content (TEC), analysis of frequency references and velocity measurement. Her current research activities focus on signal processing techniques for GNSS reflectometry and multipath mitigation.
